your drawings of the design must be accurate and understandable enough for a professional designer to prepare it for a patent application so make sure all of your measurements are accurate.... there are thousands of companies out there willing to do this all with different prices and some are free. do some research on these sites and dont let this idea you have stop you from thinking about other ideas, remember A.B.C conceive it believe it achieve it

I work in this industry, you would need to get an appointment with someone who works in Business Innovation. They will be able to run patent searches for you and advise you on any future direction. These technical appraisors, (in the UK, don't know about anywhere else), are government funded and will not charge for this service. Your Local Enterprise Agency will be able to point you in the right direction.

Before you do anything - first have it copyrighted and patented so one can steal your idea. After this is done, begin to market your idea to different companies.

it depends what type of idea or invention is it ,, then u can sell it to the appropriate person .. with legal conditions and signed documents coz he can cheat and steal ur ideas
