depends on the shoe - if i get a sandle with a good arch support i like them better - and my feet do not stink so much LOL

well you have to check out what type of arches you have then get a shoe that is correct for that style of arch. also it should be wide enough and not to tight, but not to loose. generally sandals don't provide much support or protection for your feet.

tennis shoes give you more support and protection against slippage (if wet surface for instance) and more protection if you should step wrong and twist the ankle.

it depends on were ur going or what ur doing, i perfer slides if at the beach or just walking around
