ok im guessing he is 3 1/2 months old, not years right? if hes 3 1/2 months old he is probably teething. sometimes teething can cause diarhea and even a fever. thats normal, even though some docs tell you its not, it is. my daughter went through the same thing. just make sure that he is having at least 6 wet diapers a day to show that he is hydrated. the diarhea should stop soon, if it doesnt i would go back to the doctor.

Yeah he's teething. But if it's not alot of diarrhea I wouldn't stop the formula completely. Drinking too much pedialyte can be harmful too. Pedialyte is used to restore electrolytes and if he's not going alot then he doesn't need as much. I would give him a few ounces here and there or just take him to the ER to be sure.

Congrats! Your son is teething! He's busting out some pearly whites for you to see. It's normal really. My 3 month old is doing the same exact thing. His poop is watery like diarrhea and it's a mustard yellow color. It's often a little but he sometimes shoots a good load here and there. I actually experimented last night and chipped off a itty bitty piece of a cherry ice pop and rubbed it on his gums. Oh my god, he LOVED it... I only gave him just like a little bigger than a pin head to start off. I wasn't sure how he would react to it. It seemed to help sooth his gums. Give it a whirl, what the heck! Good Luck with you boy and I wish you all the best! Hope this was of some help.... :)

Teething or a mild stomach bug. Keep him hydrated! Mylicon only hardens the stool. It will not cure a stomach bug. Best to skip the mylicon and let it run its course. If he will not drink the Pedialyte (mine won't), stick to formula and give frequent sips of water.

He could have a virus's, It just went through my house and mine are 3 yr old twins. Also could be cutting molars. The Dr. told you right. I was giving pedilight for two days. Stay away from juice, fruit, dairy, some of those things really make the diarrhea alot worse. I wish you the best and hope your little guy is feeling better.

It does sound like teething. If there was a lot more diarrhea, then you would definately be concerned as babies can dehydrate quickly. Good luck!
