WOW.. What was that? You find yourself talking too much and turning people off? Honey, move over..; I have the same problem. Seems I just don't get a chance to talk with people on a regular basis (other than business customers) and I end up yakking the time away.. It's either that or I clam up and say nothing!
What do I do? Well, I keep a soda in my hand and, when I find myself overdoing it, I talk a LONNNGGG drink.... to give the other person a chance to get their own two-cents in! Also, rather than thinking of what you're going to say next, truly LISTEN to what the other person is saying! This really helps!

Do your talking as you are killing them instead of before.
You will have their complete attention when you are stabbing them or sawing them in half or whatever it is you do.

its o.k to monologue...just talk about them....how good they are, and set your trap quicker....so they don't escape!
