i have recently seen small black wormlike stuff and i automatically thought the cleaning lady must be taking a shower on my shower again or someone must have been cleaning themselves on my shower without asking me or that I HAVE intestinal worms.

but a couple of days ago i asked the cleaning lady to clean the shower w/ the amway brand of LOC or something, it was around 7 am that time and i had to take a shower and bham! i saw like a dozen small black slugs (some were a bit longer than 1 centimeter but less than 2 centimetrs)
all floating around on the floor, looking dazed or half dead.

has anyone experienced the same thing? im scared they might bite me. but im not squeamish if theyre just slugs. it only affects me if they are intestinal parasites.

thank you very much..

So much to say... There is a good possibility that these worms are not coming from a person using the shower, but live in or around the shower themselves. Unless you are using your shower as a toilet, intestinal worms shouldn't show up in the shower. There is a group of insects called drain flies that specialize in shower and sink drains. They are harmless and should go away if you keep your drains clean. They look like small dark sort of fuzzy worms with dark head capsules. The adults are small, light grey with broad wings that end in a point. They are very fuzzy and are sometimes called moth flies. I think they're cute. Here's a link to a picture of an adult: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.ento.psu.edu/ImageGallery/HouseMisc/Thumbs/Drain-fly03%2520Psychoda%2520lar117.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.ento.psu.edu/ImageGallery/HouseMisc-2.htm&h=47&w=112&sz=4&tbnid=TMswDgiCpWjSLM:&tbnh=33&tbnw=81&hl=en&ei=ZiSMRPrzHI-SaeODwZMK&sig2=fHNR_-1ZtGtltcYvlFMWFA&start=1&prev=/images%3Fq%3Ddrain%2Bfly%2Blarva*%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26client%3Dsafari%26rls%3Den-us%26sa%3DN

nope, but that freaks me out! I hate most bugs, and i've never heard of intestinal parasites like that.

I think you have an issue that warrants further investigation. I would be very concerned.
