Is a Sleep Disorder characterized by walking or other activity while seemingly still asleep. Sleepwalking (Somnambulism) is a series of complex behaviors that are initiated during slow wave sleep and result in walking during sleep. Sleepwalking is a rapid eye movement (REM) behavior disorder occurring in the dream stage of sleep. During this phase, the body releases a chemical that paralyzes the body. However, those who sleepwalk do not have this chemical trigger, hence the behavior

I never did sleep-walk but I did things in my sleep that I can't explain. One night, I actually took a poster off my wall, waking up to find it laying beside me, face down. One night, I also grabbed my phone (eyes shut), and sent a text message to my boyfriend saying that I was going to the store. He asked me what I planned on going to the store at 3am for. I don't know what causes it. Sometimes its funny and sometimes, it's just down-right creepy.

when I do it...I don't know that I'm doing it. It sounds like it's just a dream of you walking...not actually sleepwalking.
Most of these episodes happened to me when very young. One time I walked into my parents bedroom, picked up my father's slipper and peed in it.....hahha
