I know of at least 3 other people on here who have killed. It was in war and we weren't given much choice about the matter. But since you ask, there is always something fundamentally wrong when a life is taken, even when it has to be done.
I know that sounds contradictory, but consider: I would certainly kill someone to protect the life of one of my children. But hasn't something gone terrible wrong in that I am forced to make such a horrible decision?
I believe killing anyone who doesn't pose a great and immediate danger is barbaric. The death penalty belittles us all, even assuming can "know" the executed is guilty, which we cannot.

Murder is never justified. However, If you are trying to use that to attack the death penalty, then you have to actually understand the English Language and the Law. Murder is the "unlawful taking of a life." Not the case with the death penalty. It is the "lawful punishment" for a crime so heinous and reprehensible that the only possible acceptable answer is for the one who committed it to forfeit their own life. Life has enough value that this should be the case.
Many make the argument that the death penalty does not create a deterrent against future murders. However, we CAN be sure that the murderer who is executed will never do another murder. THEY are permanently deterred.

Here is three ways to put it :
1. A murderer sends you straight into heaven so why kill him, he should be admired .
2. A murderer takes away a loved one from family and friends and puts them in agony.
So he has to be put in agony. Also the society must make sure that no one else is going to be killed later on . It depends on his intentions of whether he has to be set aside completely from the society or not.
3. The husband and wife were always arguing at home . Neighbors heard the wife yell," I'll kill you " most of the times .
Well the husband was murdered in another city over money matters. When they found the murderer the wife gave him a big bonus and said thanks for your help !
So murderers can come in useful sometimes .

I've never killed anyone, no. I do think that the death penalty should exist. If someone kills someone in cold blood, they don't deserve life. Period.

God's law says THOU SHALT NOT KILL. It doesn't say that it is ok if there is due process. It doesn't say it's ok if you are the State of Illinois, Wisconsin, wherever your from. It says Thou Shalt Not Kill. period end of sentance
