Like the other folks said, It depends on what kind of toad. Many, when surprised or handled roughly, do secrete chemicals that were evolved to discourage predators from eating them.
A few might have psycho-reactive chemicals, but most would just make you sick. Unless you count passing out from marathon dry heaving as a high, I'd suggest you avoid it.
Also remember that toads tend to let their bladders empty when you pick them up. Not exactly finger-lickin' good eh?

Hah! lol. It depends on what type of toad you're lickin. The secretions of certain types are deadly poisonous, and will kill a person in minutes. Others are halucinagenic. :-D Though, it IS illegal to do so. To quote comedian Bobby Slayton: "lick a frog: Go to Jail"
(is defense mechanism in both types of toad)

I'm a biology major, and I know that licking toads means you're licking whatever they secrete, and some of them secrete poison, and indeed some secrete things that if you got enough of them in your system, it can really alter your mental state (if THAT'S what you meant by "high.") In short, you're right.

I'm thinking you watch Family Guy too much my friend! Not only will it not get you high but if you are fortunate enough to lick a South American Poison Arrow Tree Frog, you'll be fortunate enough to be poisoned by the secretions of its skin. Aboriginals in the area coated their arrow tips from secretions of the frog because of its poison to help bring down game when hunting.

Depends on the toad probably. But it could probably also make you really sick! They're not the cleanest of creatures, especially if they're in/near dirty water. So you're better off just staying away from them.

I heard that it will no longer truly get you extreme and could kill you. i might save on with common techniques, i don't get extreme in any respect anymore. yet Toad licking seems volatile, unrewarding and unsafe.
