Are vampires real?

many people drain those around them of life force, but there are some who can do it purposefully. They have the ability to reach out and drain a person's energy. They say it's better than caffeine.

I have a good friend who can do that. She's the only energy vampire I know who uses her power for good. She takes people's headaches. She also has an amazing ability to sense energies, making her one of the most powerful witches I know (I know a lot of witches who claim to be powerful, but very few who actually are). I have known her for many years and we are very close friends.

One time it was the dead of winter, she was sitting next to a window, and she felt someone looking at her. She looked and there was someone dressed in black with no color in their body sitting across the road, intently looking at her. She looked down for no more than five seconds, looked up again, and he was sitting on her side of the road, still intently looking at her. He was not dressed for the cold, but was not shivering at all. Just intense calm looking at her. She immediately closed the blinds realizing that she had just had an encounter with a real vampire. A real vampire and a kindred spirit. It probably wasn't a vampire like Dracula or what we see from Hollywood, but it was definitely something from outside of our mundane existence.

However there is a type of bat called a vampire which does drink blood.

Vampires in the traditional sense, no.
Vampires in all reality, yes.

Dracula (Vlad Tepes/Dragul) Was a real person *as noted with the geneological records of my family on my fathers side*

and there are people who have an iron defiency which causes them to become photosensitive and require eating alot of iron rich foods *blood is 1 source* again, like me :X However I tend to just sit at my computer avoiding sunlight and eating steaks ^_^

There are people out there who BELIEVE they are vampires, but unfortunately, no, they have none of the cool powers we've come to expect from media portrayal. Basically these people are into bloodplay, and like to think it gives them some sort of paranormal abilities. It doesn't, and if it's done improperly, it can lead to a host of nasty diseases like Hepatitis and HIV AIDS.

Yeah, one lives next door to me. He calls himself "Count Vlad", but one time I got his mail by mistake, and his real name is Melvin Roseblatt. One night I went over to see what he does in his house, cause he never comes out. I pretended I needed to borrow some Cheez Whiz. Know what's going on in there? He's watching sewing shows on HGTV with the sound turned down and blasting Coldplay! Plus his house is full of Hummel figurines.

yes i believe vampires are real not the way presented on tv. i believe they drink blood & do most of thier moving around at night. but i think it's a chioce

Of course they are. I know many personally, even if they do only want to cause me issues; my guy-friend is possessed by one, so yes, they exist.
