how can i put a movie on a cd?

aslong as its not a dvd file you can do this
dowload a version of "easy cd creator"
and then just add the file as a "data file"

You probably can't do a whole movie on one CD, they don't carry enough data, usually around 80MB.
For movies you will need a DVD disc, and a program to write it to the disc.
If your computer has a DVD RW then you will have the software installed most likely.
