l Plants that are of the same family group will cross pollinate, otherwise no. It's like two breeds of dog can reproduce, but not a dog and a goat.

i planted zuchinni squash and yellow crooked neck squash to close together and to my supprise the started to cross!it was weird.the yellow squash started to take on zuchinni like colrs sometimes,and start to form yellow zuchinni like squash ,not all the way but part of the way!and not all of the time just sometimes!

vines will cross each other but veg. still grow fine
