You can set up a simulation without the internet. Pretend to buy a certain stock based on the stock's price quote on Yahoo finance. Add in about $7 for a comission for buying and selling stocks and you've got your simulation.

Yahoo used to, but it was a contest and a bunch of people cheated so they stopped doing it. That was too bad. It was fun.
