Dont know about history but my life would be a hell of a lot emptier. He has proven to be my greatest inspiration in life.
Apart from that i'd say India would possess Dominion Status coz the Congress was lobbying for it anyway. But Civil war between Hindus and Muslims would have ripped the continent apart and ALOT more lives would have been lost

Probably much the same, although Independence for British India might have taken longer. Realistically, that was as much an economic call as a political one. Gandhi's approach, however (not unlike Jesus'), was a HUGE influence on others, notably Martin Luther King, Jr. Had he not been born, the American civil rights movement of the 60's would likely have been different, and perhaps messier than it was. King's non-violent approach attracted many whites to the cause, who just wanted to see everyone get a fair shake.

I think you're giving Gandhi too much credit. I don't believe he had that much influence.

According to Hindous religion he is probably around some where?However his daughter was not that well treated.and she is also around somewhere.
The world is a Dynamics system whether one is around or not ,it does not matter. The world will still continuie spining.
