I think it's cause he looks white byut isn't 100% caucasion so white people don't root for him like a white guy, but they don't look at him as black so he's kind of forgot about.

Fact is fact Kidd brought his team to the final twice. Nash never did jack squat.

Okay! I am one of the biggest Nash fans in the free world but, to the person that said he was the best of all time??? NOPE! I think you are forgetting a couple of guys by the names of Bird and Johnson! Those two guys single handedly saved the NBA from and early demise! There were no fans to speak of when they came along and the NBA was at an all time low! People started watching again due to Bird and Magic! Now, to address the answer at hand, Kidd is great and all but, he is getting up there in his years and he's not the player he used to be! Nash is at the peak of his career right now doing inhuman things. Kidd just didn't have the year that Nash had...END OF STORY! Don't get me wrong...I love the heck outta Kidd as well. He's a great player but, facts are facts!

bcuz Nash is the type of player who will jump off Mt. Everest for the ball Kidd on the other hand is a great player but he isn't as intense as Kidd
bcuz Nash is has been pullin his team along accept 4 this season Kidd has an all around good team so for the Sun's to be as prominent 2 the league as the are Nash is the reason y and no Kidd did not bring his team to the finals twice yes offensively he did but defense wins games and his defense did not

It isn't based on background, it's all based on this: Steve Nash' team went from a losing record to the best team in the league last year, this year they lost pretty much their best player and they still kept on winning, while on Jason Kidd's standpoint, he's lost a couple of players on the team, he has Richard Jefferson and Vince Carter, and yet the Nets are still counted out of the Finals. And the last comment you had on Kidd, Nash is African, born there.

Because when Kidd was at his best point, there were people in the league that were still much better. Nash is awesome now, but there aren't many people that are that much better. Lebron should have won this year (though not by much), Nash did deserve it last year.

I think Kidd deserved to have MVP title during his 2nd finals appearance...He is a perfect pointguard that makes role players to have an amazing game...He has an amazing leadership...A triple-double player...An excellent defender...And a go-to guy during clutch times...But unfortunately,Kidd had a knee injury that changes his career...But I think Kidd is still the man...He can still bring back his A-game...
