they really believe accidental....that being said, in most cases, when people have sank to that depth into drugs, they really aren't conscious of what they are doing, nor do they really care, hence, profound self destructiveness, just a bit more "passive" form of suicide. Janis, though putting on an "party" facade before she died had been acting very inappropriately/bazaar & all that knew her could see it & knew she was really deeply despondent.♥

Janis died from complications of life itself. Her popularity was such that she (like many famous people) found her self alone with friends fans and family. However she wanted someone to love her and that just didn't happen, so being lonely in a room full of people, she took to upping the amount of booze and drugs she ingested til she actually just killed herself with an overdose
