1stly trinidad & tobago expected to lose the game, especially after they'd gone down to 10 men at the start of the 2nd half,
2ndly cos sweden are much higher up in the world rankings than trinidad & tobago so today should have been an easier game for them,
3rdly, sweden have got really high calibre players and shouldn't draw goalless to a side like T & T

Because for T & T (first appearence in the World Cup finals) 1 point (a tie) in the first game is an incredible result.
Sweden was the favorite team, and the second half they played with the advantage of a player from T&T.
Now Sweden have to win at least one game from England or Paraguay to advance (and it may not be enough)

Considering that Sweden were the favorites to win ,and win big it was a brilliant performance by Trin&Tob to hold them to a Goaless draw. What you also have to remember is that the Trinidad side has players that have actually come out of retirement to participate in the world cup, which makes it an even greater achievement.

Because Trinidad and Tobago were being understatimated, people kept laughing at them saying that they were going to lose. Its a big deal for Trinidad and Tobago to get a draw since they were considered the underdogs, Sweden was supposed to be high above Trinidad and Tobago and was supposed to be an easy win so they were frustrated when they couldn't score a goal.

Because Sweden thought they had a sure win. Tri got the draw that the hoped for. They earned a point and are still in the game now. They are the underdogs and they did so well.

Cause Sweden was supposed to win this match, the are playing to win at least 3rd place and Trinidad and Tobago - this is the first World Cup in which they participate, they first match, everyone expected them to lose and they didn't. If I was from this small country I would be happy either.

Because at least they did not let any goal in... besides they gave those swedishs fellas a good beating every now and then.... haha... at least Tob. can release some tension before the proceeding to the next game...

cuz sweden underestimated Trin
and trin is happy, cuz it's the first time in the WC, so a tie with a team like SWE is a big deal..they'll be the Senegal of this competition if u ask me

Because no one gave T&T any chance in the game.Sweden expected to beat them by a big margin.Remember this is the first appearace by T & T in the worldcup.They also played the second half with just ten men.
