The job market in Orlando is pretty good right now. With a very low unemployment rate, job security is fairly stable.

The State of Florida website has a Labor & Employment section which can provide you with more information if you need it:

Hope this helps!

I lived there in Orlando just a few months before 3 hurricanes came through and destroyed where I worked. I found Florida in general a cheap labor state and most things tied to tourism, time shares, transportation, storm chasers and many people that can't make it and the others come from elsewhere and have it before they arrive. If you have a degree and a job waiting, go for it.

The job scene in Orlando and area has had quite a boom since the appearance of Disney World back in the 70.s. My Dad lives in Melbourne and has been in the swimming pool building business for years. Very very prosperous now. Good luck with your move and much success in your search for a great paying job.

before you move take and send out your job history and then get in touch with the places to were you want to live and see how much the rent is or if your buying a home get yourself a movers package to help and then let the post office know where you are moving and the dat so they can forward your mail and let the phone company and the other people know your leaving their is alot to do before you move.

it depends unskilled labor is very not sceure but security is a growing industry in orland. FYI homeland security incresed the fund for orlando, and the DOT is adding more cameras to the streets
