it is just four day at the most that you are able to become pregnant and those four days is in the middle of your cycle.
I have also heard that having sex in the doggy possition help the sperm run down your "tube", rather than out side again.
If you have used pills to not get pregnant earier, it might take a while before your body start working again and get used to not ovulating.
I'm sorry to ask you this question, but is it a good idea to get a baby at 17? if you live in USA it is not a good idea from what I have understood, and why not wait a few years and save up some money, get married\become legal compannions (not sure about the english name for it), and get some more education first?

Shundrika, why are you trying to get pregnant at such a young age? Why don't you enjoy your life with your boyfriend first? The first few years together are THE BEST, not that a child is not great, but you have to have some "just the two of you time" first. And marriage would be something to consider before having a child also.
Now to the possible problem - there are many, many factors that control your ability to conceive. You must see a physician (an OB/GYN would be best) to diagnose the exact cause of infertility. I have 2 children and it took 2 years to conceive each with the help of fertility pills. Before doing this consider what I said before about "just the two of you time". This time is so precious, don't miss out on it! Having a baby takes away some of that together time. Good Luck and remember, don't rush it.

Any of the following are possible given what you wrote:
You are both fertile and doing everything right and you just need to keep trying. It takes *very* fertile couples up to 3 months to get pregnant, and up to 6-12 months for those who are less fertile.
One of you is infertile. You will need treatment to get pregnant, or maybe even that won't help.
One of you is less fertile than average; either you try *longer* or get medical help.
You aren't timing sex right for conception.
First of all, I would say you're too young to have a child. You can't imagine at your age just what is involved!! Not to mention that (depending on where you live), you may be putting your boyfriend's freedom at risk. Sex between a 19 year old male and a 17 year female may be statutory rape; having a baby would give proof of having had sex.
However, if you want to know more about what is going on with your menstrual cycles in order to get pregnant, please read _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler.

why do ypu want a baby ??? You are 17th why don't ypu wait more & have more fun... Do you know the responsabilities that you will have??? The less hours you are going to sleep & all the other good & bad things that come along.... I have two kids & I had my firts when I was 19 I still think I should of wait a little more, a baby is a big responsability & not a game. But if this is what you want keep trying if not go to a doctor to see if there is any problem.. GOOD LUCK & think about it again best wishes

First off the only thing I see "wrong" is that you are only 17 and he is only 19. But it takes a while, even up to a year or more, to conceive when ttc. My DH and I have been ttc for 7 months now and I think this is the month :) I missed my first period in 10 years today so I am really hoping we are. Good luck to you and your endeavors.

first off...personally i think you 2 are too damn young to think about having kids. have you finished highschool? are you going to college? do you have your own apartment/house? do you work? can you afford to pay for a baby, because they aren't cheap! I know i have two kids and my husband is an ironworker. he makes $25.90 an hour and we are still struggling with a house payment, car payment, utilities, cable, car insurance, doctor bills, food, clothes, shoes, birthday presents, christmas presents.
We paid on average $300.00 a month just for my sons formula, diapers, baby food, cereal, wipes, medicines, and there are a million more things you need for a baby. and $300.00 is probably the cheapest you could get. okay, if you got pregnant(with out trying) fine, step up and do what needs to be done. but come on!! your trying to get pregnant at 17 years old!!! that just proves that you are tooooo immature to have a baby right now! I just can't believe you would try!!! completely blows my mind!! kids are a lot of hard work. no getting your hair done, no parties, ...uuuggghhhh...your too young!!!

Honey - WHY do you want to have a baby at 17? Are you financially secure enough to raise that child on your own in the case that the father is NOT around? Can you provide him/her health care? Can you pay for doctor visits, formula, medicine, diapers, and the thousand other items you need for a baby?
Are you finished with school? Don't you want to go to college and get yourself a good education?
WHAT are you thinking? You DO NOT NEED to get pregnant. Wait a good 8 to 10 years PLEASE. You do NOT have any idea what having a child entails, you are STILL a child yourself.

Just be happy that you haven't gotten pregnant!
You're young, you're not married, you don't have a college education... Give your life a chance before you take on such a big responsibility!
As for conception, you don't automatically conceive as soon as you want to have a baby, even if you're doing everything right.

Please wait until you finish school first. If he's good enough to be your baby's Daddy, he's good enough to marry. I was pregnant at 17. It wasn't fun. I love my kid, but that last 6 months of school sucked! Wait till you graduate highschool. Then you have your diploma and can make your adult choices.
As to baby making, it can take time. Check this board, there are alot of people that have been trying for years. It'll happen when its time and not before.
