If you're over 18... yes. You aren't even required to recieve a break. Try talking to her about feeling very fatigued, nauseas, or other symptoms you've most likely been feeling. If you need to cut down on hours, tell her. She can't make you work them, but she can replace you, so be careful.

for every 4 hours you work, you get a 15 minute break. For every 8 hours, a 30 minute lunch break. Thats 45 minutes. So, no you legally are required to get a 1 1/2 worth of breaks. Thats is veryone, not just pregnant women. The laws dont change because you are pregnant, I wish they did. Good Luck!!

Legally - she can't let you work that long. For every 8 hours (full day) you are required by law to take an hour long break. Logically you should have been given two one hour breaks. Not sure what you can do about it but you could definately get her into some trouble.

If u did not get any 15 minute breaks, should be 4 in this case i believe, then the employer broke the law. The question is can u prove it. Most times people just think they have to do it. Contack the Labor Board in ur area for advice

Not unless you work in a hospital where if they need people, then you have to work because it's considered neglect if you walk away. That's happened to my mom. She got snowed into her hospital and she needed to work 3 days straight. You should get an hour break eveery 6 hours or so anyway. Especially if you're pregnant. Talk to her about it and let her know your concerns.

no she cant do that legally. but unless you are prepared to quit and take her to court there's not much you can do about it.
the thing is you are at the stage of your pregnancy that miscarriage is a high risk. maybe you should try talking to her about it just tell her you wont be working hours like that any more
and if she fire's you than you can collect unemployment.
and you can get Medicaid and wic to help until you are ready to go back to work. and wic will pay for all your formula which is costly. and medicaid will pay for your whole pregnancy..
not that i condone living on the system. but you have to do whats right for you and your baby. and 16 hour days is not a good start.. good luck

its illegal, and not just because you are pregnant. i don't know where yo are, but in my state the law says that:
4 hours-at least 15 minutes
6 hours- at least 1/2 hour lunch break
8 hours- at least 1/2 hour lunch, and one 15 minute break
12 or more hours- two 15 minute breaks, and two 1/2 hour lunches
plus, if a person needs to use the restroom, even if it is not their break time, they are allowed to go.
check out some of your osha laws, and union rites..ect...

plus, ask your doctor....that isn't good for you or your baby

I don't know for sure, but I don't think an employer can make anyone work that long. Even if they're not pregnant. Anyways, that's very unfair, you must be exhausted. I would talk to your boss, and come up with an agreement so it won't happen again. God bless

depening on the state you are in pregnant or not you are entitled to either two two hours breaks or at least two 15 minutes break and a hour lunch. but if you feel that being pregant and doing that many hours was to much for you then you need to tell her and not do it. rather she ask or not you are the one that have to put baby first

No she should not be aloud to do that, depends on what state you live in. In Indiana, a workplace must give you a 10 minute break for every four hours you work.
