studies show you can marry your 1st cousin have a kid & the kid will turn out fine. There's enough variety in y'all's genetics BUT THAT IS IT!! Anything under that and they'll come out looking like Mxzytpltck (Rachel Dratch character from SNL)
Of course this is mainly legal in the south.....I don't know if its nationwide.
Before you wonder no, I am not having relations with anybody I'm blood-related to.

Chances are very rare that you wont have any problem for the child coz the study and findings shows that marrying blood relations will greately impact in the re-generation and even if the child is born alright still he wont be active comparing to other children. So it should be prevent in most cases without risking the life of their children...

The first cousins can mary and have no problem however if thi pracctice continues then there is highe incidence of some genetic disease. Islam adopts a moderate path. It discourages but does not totally prohibit mariage wiht first cousins. Marying first cosuin is not incest.

if your 2nd(or more distantly realted) cousins...if not then you have a VERY high risk of problems with the child

depends how closely related you are. 2nd 3rd cousins onwards i think are ok check with yr doctor.

hell na'll to gentic trait's is not good for that baby it just might come out deformed or some kind of sickness but who know's it just might come out just fine.
