Germany is my favorite country. It is very clean. The trains are exceptionally fast and easy to use. It's large enough that there's much variation.

One of my favorite places is Seiffen, in the mountains south of Dresden and near the Czech border. You can see nutcrackers and other gifts being made by hand.

The cathedral in Dresden reopened in October, 60 years after it was bombed. It is truly beautiful. A good time to visit is in December when the oldest Christmas market, dating from 1400s, is open.

I also love the Rhein River. All along it are castles, vinyards, and small villages with shops and restaurants.

The people are wonderful and will answer you in English if you'll try just a little German.

Greece,

a nice country, with warm people. You have numerous things to do. You can choose to visit the mountains and its forests or do island hopping for as long as you like. Ancient ruins are everywhere and you can also visit the place that the democracy was invented. Noumerous excibitions of modern art and a realy good opera house. The Mediterranean sun is a true joy and the climate is nice all year around. I would also add probably the best night life in Europe. Great food also.

Germany. I was born and raised there. I love it's beauty. It is a very clean country. I love sightseeing in Germany. There are many river cruises available on the Rhine and Mosel Rivers. And don't get me started on the castles. WOW..lol. They are everywhere. The food is great the people are very friendly. I still have family in Germany and hopefully I can go see them soon again.
My next favorite would be Austria. It is right below Germany and as a child I took many vacations to Austria.

Umm.... Let's say France, ot Italy, or oh... I don't know! They're all great! First of all, France bears the Eiffel Tower (don't know if I spelled that right) and also the meuseum of Louvre, which is featured in the Da Vinci Code. Also, Italy, home of Venice! Home of spagetti, and PIZZA!
