Actually, the mirror thing came about because of the belief that the mirror had magical properties and would reflect your soul instead of your true image. It then follwed that a vampire, with out a soul would not cast a reflection. However, careful analysis would tend to disprove this since chairs, curtains and other objects in the room without a soul do cast a reflection. So it doesn't matter if a vampire has a soul or not, he will still cast a reflection and is therefore able to comb his hair, check his teeth for pieces of flesh left over from a meal, check for booggers, etc.
-What the hell am I talking about?....There are no such things as vampires! - please ignore me......sorry.....

The truly fashion conscious creature of the night needs to find a good stylist, because they'll have a hard time doing it themselves.
Most vampires would rather choose a relatively simple to maintain hairstyle. If you watch Buffy or Angel, you'll note that Angel's hair is somewhat messy, and that Spike's hair is a simple dye-job combed back. Of course, you can always ask another vampire for help with your hair.
If you want a nice hairstyle and really can't go to someone else, a video camera with a direct hookup to a TV monitor is probably your best bet. Modern cameras don't use mirrors, so no problem there.

They have to do it before the rise from their cripes every-night, its a learning experience. New Vampires can go hungry for several nights before the get it right, or resort to feasting on animals and bugs.
Ever hear the story about the Vampire that, the first night, for got to put his cloths on, the next night forgot to put his face on, and it went on and on like this for a week.
Then he learned to dress like a female ins ted of a male, because women can get picked up easier than men!!
So he had some learning on the hair thing. Go figure

This mirror thing is a bunch of nonsense. I see myself quite clearly in the mirror, and I am the meanest blood sucker you have ever met...at least that is what I am told by my partner most of the time. I am accused of sucking everyone about me dry. My hair always looks.... well, bald if the truth were known, but this site has little to do with truth. Cute question, keep it up...we all need a laugh today.

That whole reflection-thing only applies when their blood doesn't flow and their presence isn't grounded.
Besides; its usually the guys that have the pretty long hair anyhow; chicks usually keep it short.

if you saw a vampire you weere watching a movie and a makeup artist did it for him or her legend says a vamp stays the form he becomes during his transendence into the night life why no look good if your gona live so long ?

it's not really their hair, mind you..
vampires are bald due to the illness they get from numerous
blood types (all mixed up) they suck...
that's why they wear wigs to be fashionable...
and goodlooking..
