Yep. you can guarrantee that the repubs are really p1ss@d off over this! They're angry, in general, that they're losing support and the Dixie Chicks have absolutely rubbed their collective noses in it! I say, thanks to these gals for doing something I don't have the power to do! After all, I'm not a celeb! Hey, EVERYONE needs to vote in this year's elections: It's way past time that we get out from under the thumbs/ rule of this republican congress.. they've hurt far too many americans and others all over the world!

I would imagine not. I would guess that many folks don't pay attention to the charts. i do, but I am a big fan of alot of types of music. Maybe Toby Keith was surprised but probably not angry. I think he and Natalie have a thing for each other. Haha. The remarks that they direct towards one another remind me of a married couple bickering. Anyways, I am a far left liberal and I am typing this. So again, I would say that most conservatives don't really notice the success of the Dixie Chicks. They are quite talented by the way. I think their music alone and not their political views got them back to the top of the charts.

The DIXIE CHICKS are part of the FEW who knew George W. Bush was a REICH WING NUT before most Republicans could figure this fact out,, the COUNTRY MUSIC STATIONS won't play their music so the CHICKS went straight to the top of the POP CHARTS despite them,,, their songs are about opposing hatred in numbers, which is very popular with conservatism

Toby Keith rules. The hell with the Dixie Chicks and any entertainer that brings politics to their shows other than supporting our troops. Natalie is a whiny little brat anyway so who cares? Idiots come from both political sides of the spectrum.

Dixie chicks stink. Isn't it great to live in a country where we have the freedom to express ourselves openly. If you think you only have the freedom to say what republicans want you to say, how are you saying what you're saying. Granted, our government is out of control but the way to change that is to get involved, not *****.

Nope...album sales are "chump change" for singers. The big money is in tours. Cities are canceling the Chicks' tours all over the country. The Chicks put their respective feet in their very big mouths and are now having a hard time swallowing the consequences.
So, "no, we Republicans are all smiling very broadly.

My neighbor who doesn't have a cd player
(She's about 75 years old)
Had me go buy her FIVE COPIES of the
Dixie Chicks so she can show her
support of Chicks having the guts to
stand up to the Bush dictatorship...
She then had me sell them on ebay!

The Dixie Chicks are just using what happened to them to benefit financially. All they did was say something in public regarding their opinion....SO WHAT! Everyone has an opinion on something. Get over it already!

Dixie Chicks can't sing all that well to me,but for them to have their own opinions and speak them-I give them a thumbs up.I agree with anyone that will voice their opinions regardless of me agreeing with them or not.I'm in the middle with the war on terror,I don't agree or disagree and I don't have anything against anyone that doesn't agree with it.I don't agree with our president,i don't like him,and he didn't get my vote to start with....I'm just ready for the war to be over with so our troops can come home to their familes.

No, why should we be? Michael Jackson's latest album was huge in Europe, too.
We just don't like them ourselves. Too bad, I liked their music, but now can only think of their politics when I hear their name. I wouldn't buy their album.
Oh, I totally agree with free speech. I think they have every right to speak their opinion. I also have every right to express my opinion by spending my money where I like.
