I have been reading about the Waltzer amusement ride. We don't have those in the USA. Do all of them have a ride attendant who pushes the cars?

You can see a picture of one at http://www.atfotf.com/waltzer.html
It consists of circular carriages that go round and up and down like a merry-go-round but much faster, and also each carriage spins round - attendants give them a push. I'm surprised you don't have them in the USA - perhaps they have a different name?
