Hubby is rank when he gets home from work, and he wants to snog and cuddle, and I have told him a million times I hate this...any ideas to show him how awful it is to be hugged by a sweaty man?
ps he is American, are most U.S. males like this?

He showers later, he just insists on a hug RIGHT NOW?

Kendra, my daughter says she uses Vick's around corpses. It helps her when they are maggot ridden, and they don't mind the smell either.

Wait for a time when he is all 'spiffed' up, smellin' sweet and looking good. Run around the block a few times, rub some dirt in your hair and over your face, put a little touch of dog doo-doo behind your ears, put on 3 day old underwear, eat some garlic and onions, and then spray some fox lure on your clothing. Run in to greet him jumping into his arms and snuggle and kiss the man. Tell him you want him NOW!.....he might or might not get the hint, men are so bad at taking hints.

No, most US males take a shower once or even twice a day (if going out to a special event). I don't know about the hugs, I guess I'd hug him and walk to the shower at the same time (kidding). Maybe joining him would be the reward system.

I like what Sanitzer suggested, I have the same problem and I tried rolling in the cow manure across the street, all that accomplished was getting my dogs excited and they seemed to love me more. Do you know what "Ramps" are? they are a type of wild garlic, if you eat them raw, your breath smells just like dog **** for a week, if you eat them cooked, the aroma lasts only a day. I think I am going to try that next, they are in season now. Ill plant a nice ole passionate kiss on smelly ole dear hubby, and I am pretty sure ramp aroma wont drive the dogs wild,,,,,GOOD LUCK HONEY if any of the suggestions you get here work, can you let me know???????

Just be glad you have a loving man that is willing to support and love you. So what if he is a little sweaty. A lot of women would be super happy to havw what you complain about. Stop being so picky and count yourself lucky girl!!!!!!

I think you are being insensitive, it could be that he has a glandular(yes glandular) problem.
I have a similiar problem where I cannot stop drooling when I hear a doorbell.
What your hubby needs is a little understanding, he is probably really hurting inside(by hurting inside, I mean inside his mind, yes his mind).
I suggest you and your husband join a support group.

Some US males are like this, but not all. I would spray him with some febreeze or other product for smells. Then maybe he'd get the idea!

Why not find another sweaty man and have him hug your husband?

(Be sure to take pictures.)

(And don't forget to share!)

He wants hugs? Hug him. Then clean up together.
