Everyone goes through these periods...I would bet that if you asked your other half, they would say the same thing. These things pass with time. Get over it and get on with your life. Try dragging yourself UP instead. No one is dragging you down but you...don't blame your other half for this.

Talk to them about it and explain to them (in a calm, not yelling manner) that you should have more space to do things and that they are dragging you down. Don't quote me but use things along these lines.

get out if you can, trust me, it's not friggin worth it, i just hope you don't' have kids in it too- been married for 17 yrs... we have kids and i haven't been able to get out - it's hard to think about what will happen to the kids when I'm gone, last 14 years have been hell, and getting worse every day

i put up with it for thirteen years then couldn`t deal anymore so I divorced him. Now I am happily remarried to a very wonderful man who i can`t say enough about.

well when you said your wedding vows im sure you said for better or for worse....or was it a lie like everyone else these days, divorced at the sign of trouble.
