Of course you should!! Just make it clear to them that they can only stay a limited time until they get on their feet. Otherwise, you know how that can turn out - they'll be there sponging on you until the end of time.

Yes, no matter how bad they hurt you buy running away they will always be your goldfish. Let them in and start the healing process.
