We've owned an interior design firm started by my husband 30 years ago in LA. His degrees are in architecture and design, mine in business and law. I can suggest a few courses of action to help you pursue interior design as a career. First, having natural talent in design is one thing, having an education to back it up is quite another. Take some classes and you will begin to see how much technical information you may lack. For example, how to write a contract, methods of determining fee structures, insurances required, job cost factors, trade source relations, analyzing and solving operational problems, budget estimates, logistics, etc. Design is not only an art, it is a profession and a business, as well.
Without sound business practices, design can be a minefield loaded with financial disaster, tarnished reputations, catastrophic client relationships and a host of other hazards. Try to find a small firm that will give you an apprenticeship or internship. You will see the internal workings from the business prospective as well as putting the basic principles of good design to work in real life situations. You will develop your artistic competence, learn the rudiments of architecture, sketching, drafting, rendering techniques, gain a basic knowldge of furniture and fabric construction, principles of lighting, color theory and develop relationships with the trades that will be invaluable. While you continue to work toward a degree, you will gain experience which will make for a rewarding career.
Good luck and best wishes.

I had the same dreams, and found talking to a trained counsellor rid me of them...no seriously, interoir design could be studied at art college, costume design courses may be found at stage school and to become an actress stage school would be your best bet. However, there are occasions when you could get work as an extra, or start off by joining an amateur dramatic society. Which ever way I wish you the very best of luck and hope that your dreams do come true.

Take some other classes at University. Art classes in particular. Find some internship program that will train you and you can get some experience. Join a drama class or program. Get as much experience doing what you love.
