Could be anxiety, but it also could be just be a normal part of your development. At some point we all need to come to terms with the fact that we (and everyone we know) will eventually die. It is healthy to think about as long as you continue living your life and don't let the thoughts controll your life. If you are having panic attacks over it or are extremely scared, then seeing a counselor will definately help you.

It could be a psychological deal.(not beating up on ya) Deep depression can result in a obsession with death. Or Anxiety disorders..... If this is so, I'd talk to someone. -Again, not beating up on ya.
It's fairly common to be more or less fascinated with death. Some call it a morbid interest. (to an extent their right.) With it being one of the biggest unknowns, we're naturally fascinated, and terrified of it (usually at the same time..)

Its something to do within your mind.A mental thing. Not saying you're crazy because you aren't.Its just something to do within your mind that causes you to think that way.Maybe as a child you lost a loved one and you never got over it,so you always think you're going to die too.You should see your doctor and ask for advice, theres also books at the library that can help, and some places have free/cheap canceling that can provide you with some help about your situation and make you feel alot better.Your doctor maybe also prescribe something for depression, but always try to avoid anti-depressants..those can sometimes just cover up the problem, and most are just something quick and easy.

I feel for you. There are many different reasons something like this takes hold of your life. Go to a dr and ask for some type of medication to ease your symptoms. I take Paxil 20mg a day for depression and panic attacks and it works so well. I am happier than I have been in 10 years. Don't waste another day feeling this way. Get help! Everyone deserves to be happy. Life is too short to be unhappy and tomorrow is not promised to us.

Because you're alive. You wonder whats going to happen after you die and will you just not exist or is there something after death.
If your religious you shold have some answers and shouldn't worry if you aren't then you have no answer. If you're interested in Bible answers to death read Ezekiel or the last chapters of Luke.

I think about death, but I always worry about other people dying, not me. I think I am so scared of losing someone so close because I've seen it happen to everyone around me. I've seen my friends lose best friends or parents or girlfriends. I've never lost anyone that close to me, so I'm terrified of the day it will happen.
When I do think about myself dying, it's very scary. But you have to just know that it is something that everyone has to do. And it's not something that you can stop. Think of it as an adventure, as the answer to everything you've ever wanted to know.

I think about death all the time too. I do have depression and anxiety and I'm on medicaton but the thoughts don't stop. It's a mind boggling subject. It's easy to be obsessed with it.

Depression OR Anxiety. When I had anxiety I always thought I was going to have a heart attack. That thought was brought on by physical symptoms of anxiety...pains in the arm, chest, neck, feeling like I can't swallow, shortness of breath, rapid heart beat...etc.
Once my anxiety went away the thoughts of death and dying did too.

It could be depression, or it could just be fear of the unknown. When I was little (really little... maybe five or six) I would lie in my bed at night and just think about dying, and what would happen when I died. Eventually I just accepted that it's an inevitability and it's going to happen no matter what I think about it, and now I'm not afraid of it anymore.
A therapist could help you.
