where a person gets inside a very big transparent ball then rolls himself down on whatever sloping surface it is. It also floats in water?

What do you call that ball?
And that activity?

Hi Jen,

I just came across your question and since no one answered I thought I would pass along what I knew. The idea you're talking about started in New Zealand and it was actually just sort of a thing to do for fun like bungie jumping or something and the ball was called a Zorb. It's an inflatibl plastic ball that one or two people climb into and then roll downhill inside. I found a little asite about it so I thought I'd post in here for you to have.

Water ball, dance ball, moon ball or bimbo ball. It is a large transparent ball( eight feet in dameter?) that you maneuver by holding onto the sides. It is used mostly on water, but it can be used on land. There is enough air for a 20 minute ride or so. The air should be changed every 30 minutes. It has a zipper.

I think it's called Bored Balling but then I'd have to agree with
Darryl up there.
