I am an alternative medicinal therapist and an ex nurse, This is called tinnitus and it's sometimes caused by inflammation of the sternomastoid muscle in the sides of the neck. Go and see either an acupressurist or a massage therapist.

Try the following supplements: ginger, gingko biloba, lecithin, bromelain, coq10, b-complex (make sure to buy a non-synthetic form, like Megafood, or New Chapter). They are very safe, and after a month, I would be suprised if you didn't see a significant difference.

You cant. You just have to let it stop on it's own. If it continues for a really long time, then maybe you should go to the doctors.
