Average IQ has been going up quite a bit in the last century too. Nobody knows yet whether it's evolution in action or not. Even if we don't naturally evolve for a while, I think genetic engineering will do the same thing to us. There's no such thing as evolution in reverse. The real question is, after we change will we still calls ourselves humans or not? I predict that in the future some biologists will claim we're a different species and they're will be lots of religious and political outcry against them.

The human species is evolving as we speak. An easy example is height. The average American man is 3 inches taller than the average guy 100 years ago.

We are evolving into being better at being humans. Most of the evolution is not visible, and consists of things like an improved immune system.

lol. Some are referred to as cavemen everyday. It's not obvious, but with 2 generations, evolution occurs. It's usually only visible with birth defects, but with every child, there's a certain amount of random genetic mutation. If the genetic drift is fatal, it's not passed on the the child's children. If not fatal, the kid will (hopefully) grow up and pass their genes on to his/her own children.
