For multiplayer games:
Everquest 2 or World of Warcraft (due to the large fanbase and guild system)
Possibly Guild Wars if you prefer not to pay server costs.
Pool and draughts for quick games to play.
Singleplayer
Miniclip.com has a fair few, as does newgrounds.com (be warned newgrounds.com has some (but not all) adult games).
