Abnormal heart beats can be caused by many different reasons. It could be nothing or it could be something serious. Talk to your doctor and explain to him or her your problem. He or she may run certain heart tests to be sure. Get your heart checked before your surgery. It is better to be safe than sorry. Good luck to you and I hope everything turns out okay for you!

Maybe you're trying to focus on a different part of your body instead of what you're having surgery on; Trying to find a flaw or notice something different is pretty usual. You may just be anxious about the surgery.
