"What are we humans doing here? Are we working towards fulfilling our purpose or are we just drifting along ? Has the distractions of the earth beclouded our sense of purpose?"
The above questions were posed on a research paper by one "Michael Damasus Umana" which was relayed in a local TV documentary recently.

Purpose Of Existence

The purpose of human existance is the same as the existance of everything else on this earth. Through a combination of many things plants, animals( including humans ),all the other forms of life evolved from a ball of super hot material into what you can see today.
If it were possible to come back a few thousand years from now, you would notice a difference in animal and plant life. This is not the end of evolution .It is a continuing process.

Mystic Judaism believes each of us is a "spark of soul", a piece of one original soul. Human existence is to provide an opportunity for each spark to unlearn the fatal flaw (allegedly inherited from an original choice) having to do with Ego or as Genesis calls it Pride. Zen seeks a similar goal, a sort of getting over the illusion of separation into individual beings. Having never made a choice, we still have a choice left, so there is a way back, called enlightenment by some. It is said that ultimately, as each piece unlearns the flaw, humanity will regroup back into One. Then, having grown up, surely there will be more important things for that critter to do. Well, either that or pot and bugs bunny cartoons.

Simple as I can say mutation mistakes of evolution or either we long back billions of years ago was once a microscopic being who luckly evolve into something such being turned out to be intelligent, It actually changed this world but as again there is no purpose to life itself. We as living creatures for such intelligent made purpose for reasons so that things can be a purpose. The purpose to be satisfy at all times. The purpose to feel. The purpose to exists even though there is no purpose but atleast we made it purpose.

A very great question and after a lot of thought all i can say is that there probably is no ACTUAL purpose, other than to reproduce, and at a very basic level, work towards the presevation and continuation of ALL life on the planet. However, since we're here, which is soooooo unlikely when you consider all the variables which need to be in place in order for life to start, let alone evolve, we might as well a) enjoy it to the best of our abiliy b) help others to enjoy it too c) take ONLY what we need from our surrounding environment and from the world in general d) leave a habital and healthy planet for our decendents so thay too can ask the same question that you have! Thanks for the question, I hope my answer makes sense and helps.

None. We just are. For a little while. Life really has no purpose. Humans are just one of natures biological mistakes. A mutation and nothing more.

Randomly floating, like a leaf in a river, no purpose to it, but enjoy the ride.
