Been there went through all that I'm sure your trying real hard at focusing and paying attention. Well you never did say at what grade your in but you should go to a doctor and talk to him about this. This is very serious and will only get worse because your brain doesn't manufacture enough serotonin and you need a chemical intervention just like diabetics.

I always tell my kids, before they start the school year... To always try their best to pay attention to everything the teacher is saying, and not whats going on around you.. That if they start off that way, and continue throughout the year, that way, they should hear & understand everything,,and come home with good grades. I'll be practising what I preach in the "Fall" myself when I go back to school, too. If I were you pray for God to make it interesting to you.. To help you to get back in the groove of things. And, just look for anything your Instructor, teacher tells you, to find interesting as soon as He/She starts speaking.. And, make yourself, block everything out of your thoughts mentally but what you are hearing in front of the class.. Drink a little coffee, or have a bran muffin w/ a banana, before the coffee, and that will make you happy & alert, etc & so on... Good-Luck! & God Bless you, Dont throw in the towel, stick with it, it'll pay off, later!!

If it is possible, read the days leason before you go to the class. Then you know what's going on, and it's easy to follow. And at the same that make the class less boring.

you should consider seeing a mental health doctor who would be able to determine whether or not you have Attention Defecit Disorder. And if you do have that condition, there are several medications that you could get prescribed for.

Sit in the front row. This way, you have no distractions and the teacher can wake you if you tend to fall asleep!!
