He's a man with mental problems, not a bat. Only bats sleep upside down.

For starters, Batman is a human being & he sleeps like any normal human beings do. If you remember the 1989 version of Batman Bruce Wayne was hanging upside down like a bat & there were rumors circulating that that's how he sleeps & that's not entirely true. He would sleep in a bed as everybody does at night.

because he doesn't think he's a bat, nore is a man that has been transformed into a bat-like creature. thus, Batman can't and won't sleep upside down. now, put on a smile you silly melancoly girl. go on. smile. it's not going to hurt you. it takes less muscles to smile than to frown, although you don't want to smile all the time. that would cause cramps.
