Smart and ugly because people would take me more seriously and I could use my brains to make tons of money then get plastic surgery to become hot.

If I were smart and ugly - I mean, really ugly - I might wish to give up everything to be hot. But if I were dumb and hot, I'd probably be pretty well off, at least for the moment.
But to answer the question: smart and ugly. I might not be happy, have self-respect, etc. but at least I could do something, something that would be more important than just me and my wanting.

I'd rather be smart and ugly. Why? Because as people age, looks don't matter as much (i.e. when you're 60 or 70). At least I'll have my intelligence then. Looks don't last forever and aren't that important. By being smart, I would be able to effectively argue and not have people take advantage of me. I would know that people like me, not because of my looks, but because of my personality. Also, I would get a better job and a better salary.

I'd rather be me! Whether I'm smart, dumb, hot, or ugly depends on the observer's perspective.

to be honest with you i'd rather be dumb and smart...looks dont get you nowhere..i'm college student who is very good looking..well kinda...but my brain is sometimes lacking...i've modeled my performance on the smart kids because all i want to be is smart..so to answer your question..i'd rather be smart and ugly because smarts get you everywhere...another question to ask? is common sense better than being smart..I think so...it will get you further in the world...im improving..luckily

I would rather be allowed to be myself and not worry about such things as whether or not I am smart, dumb, ugly or hot.
Such concpts tend to be shallow. They have meaning only to shallow people (who tend to think of themselves as smart and are trying to look hotter than they really are).

You mean you can't tell soul beauty glowing in the body from physical beauty? If so, it's cause you never met the former.
