My computer internet explorer's homepage had been changed to about:blank.I go in and they made me go to the website www.securityuptodate.net.Please help me or give me some source

start using Mozilla or Opera. they do not got so much trouble as Explorer. Less spyware and trojans.

Go under tools on top, then click on internet options, under the general tab you will see a pic of a house with addresses written next to it, take out whatever address is in there now and type in the name of your prefered homepage for ex. http://www.yahoo.com/ then hit ok and that should fix it.

you have a virus, ad-were or your computer is stupid. here are the steps to change your homepage:
*go to tools(or steetings)
*it is supposed to say "homepage"
*then you change the homepage you want,not that aboutblank crap.

go to tools and it should say abdout blank, then type something like google .com if that doesnt work go to microsoft.com and download free spyware remover,but first try tools,home page = aboutblank, change that to google.com

your pc has been hijacked.. You have to download a software called spyboy search & destroy and san for spyware!

I would go download and run Ad-Aware, you probably have gotten some Spyware on your PC.
