Why not? Being a parent is not the worst thing in the world! He is not neither thief nor a serial killer! THERE IS NO PROBLEM! I would let them date and flirt and have an affair! So simple!
Sometimes age doesn't matter at all if the person is mature enough.
Becoming a parent makes you more responsible.

I would be okay with the 20 year old coming over to my house to see my daughter but would not be comfortable with my 15 year old dating a 20 year old who has a 4 month old.

My first thought, for you my dear, is how can this 20 year old man have a 4 month old meaning he should have been in a committed relationship just over 1 year ago (9 months pregnant + 4 months old) with another girl. Who is this other girl? How old is the other girl? How long were they in a relationship?

Other questions I would pose are: Are you mature for 15? Is he immature for 20? Are you ready to be a mother - because ultimately the 4 month old would become part of your relationship with the 20 year old?

Maturity has very little to do with age - maturity is how you grasp the concepts of life and the responsibility of your life...

Think of this as well - while WAITING may not be the answer you are wanting to here - true love never dies & if the two of you love each other then waiting until you are 17 - 18 years old and having relationship restrictions until then is in your best interest.

Think of his ex-girlfriend - her entire life is placed on hold because she now has the responbility of nurturing another human being. Was she prepared for this choice, was this a choice she made, or due to a choice she forgot to make, in turn, having unprotected sex...

Holy crap no.

Look, I know a 15 year old girl may feel mature and flattered to have an older man desire them, but look at this guy...

He is 20, with a child. A loser. He has already started down the path to failure in life.

At the age of 15 you are just starting on your path of success.
Do great in High School, find a boy your age that doesn't have a kid, and become successful and get married.

If you are with the 20 year old you will have to cope with his child, with his ex, and constantly fear that as soon as you get too old he will find another 15 year old.

**Ok this is important: Anything he does to you can be considered rape or child molestation. ****

He is way WAY too old to be playing with 15 year olds.

A parent that trusted a 20 yr old male with a kid with their 15 yr old daughter? That wouldn't be odd in a place known as Bizzarro World. Maybe your parents have been inhaling to many fumes in that trailer park you live in. Tell the neighbors to shut the RV engines off and let your folks get some fresh air to clear their heads. So I guess my answer would be no. Does your dad need any shotgun shells?

Absolutely not! If he already has a child, the last thing I would want was a 15 year old daughter who also gets pregnant. Not to mention the fact the relationship is against the law! Give it 3 more years - you'll have better luck gaining your parents approval.

Well, here's an unpopular opinion, I'm sure.

I'm also not a parent, but my friend and I were just talking about this the other day.

When we were kids, both she and I had older boyfriends. Me, 14 w/ 18 yo bf. She was 15 and her bf was 20. Now that her daughter is 10, we were just discussing "WTF were our parents thinking???"

Well, we came to this conclusion - they knew we were going to do it anyway (we would have). So instead of forbidding it and making us lie, they let it happen, but put control around it (where we went, how late, how long, etc). Rather have us at home with the guy than lie and be out who knows where?

If they are going to do it anyway, focus on trying to keep her safe rather than forbidding it. This will likely burn out shortly anyway.

No, I wouldn't. The reason is because a 15 year old needs to be doing things a 15 year old should be doing. Not doing what a 20 year old is doing and helping him raise a kid. She's just a kid herself. I'm not sure where you live, but that's even illegal here in Texas. Good luck to you.

Absolultely not. Too much of an age difference. There is not alot a 15 year old girl and 20 year old guy could have in common right now. You are way too young to worry about his child. Enjoy your life....you have soo much more ahead of you!! Good luck!!

No!! The 20 year old should find someone his own age. It's tough because there is baby involved. But, I would do anything I could to keep my 15 year old away from this guy!

No way! You need to be with someone your age and you certainly don't need a 20 year old with a child, you are still a child, weather you like to hear that or not. Take your time and grow up more and enjoy your youth! You will be out in the real world sooner than you think and it is allot harder than you think, don't rush it. There are lots of boys closer to your age that will be allot more fun, don't let someone steal your youth!!!!!! Please listen to me and your parents, you will understand one day and be glad you did listen. Have a great life! :-)

HELLS NO!! If he was a REAL man, he wouldn't be looking at 14 year old girls. He would be with the mother of his baby. If he was trying to date one of my daughters, he would be met by the police the next time he came around. If they wouldn't do anything, then he would find out what it is like to have his *ss kicked by a woman.
