When you consider what he did to Nicolaus Berg, it would have been nice if an American soldier in uniform would have held up to Zarqawi's neck a rusty machete. Not that the soldier should have used it, but rather scare him and remind him of the beast he was and the atrocities he committed. Sending him into cardiac arrest in this manner would be fitting.

As Bin Laden's "Prince of Mesopotamia" he got what was coming to him when the U.S. Air Force dropped two 500 pound bombs on his hide-out. He will no longer be sawing off children's heads with a rusty knife or training insurgents how to build roadside bombs. I'm just wondering why they put him on a gurney, they should have dragged his corpse through the streets like they did our troops. For the people in here that can't distinguish between one Iraqi and another, I suggest you read at least one or two news articles before you try to answer any more questions.

Since his death was a result of an air raid, I doubt that he saw anyone in an American army uniform.

The last thing many people in Iraq see is an American soldier, I'm failing to see the difference.

I really don't think that is true. He was killed by two 500 pound smart bombs. The military didn't show up until later. But..I loved seeing the Iraqi people dancing for joy at the news.

Its a great thing. To bad the Americans did not actually get the satisfaction of killing him themselves. But having him gone is better than nothing.

and the last thought going through his mind was "now 100 Arab boys will rise up and try to take my place as we fight the American hegemons." Good going troops, you have just made your job all that much harder. Gloat now, die later.

He knew what the risks were when he went into that line of business. I'm sure he believed he was martyred.
