Some of my best women friends were ones that I wanted to date at one point. I even wound up with one girl as my roommate, though her boyfriend wasn't too cool about that. Also, sometimes things change. My fiance now was my friend for a long time before we became a couple. Of course, we met online and were just trading emails. I'm in the US and she's in Japan, so it's hard to date that way. Anyway, being friends with members of the gender you are attracted to isn't a bad thing. Also, they can give you dating tips if you become close friends.

Keep the friendship. I had that happen. This guy really liked me but I thought of him only as a friend. After about 9 months of hanging out things changed. I told him that I've started having feeling for him. He was shocked. Then he shocked me and told me he started seeing someone the night before. LOL!!! We did end up dating but didn't last. We don't even speak now because my husband wouldn't like it. I wish now we never dated at all and maybe I'd still have my friend. Hope I didn't bore u too much.
Good Luck!!!

It is important to know that people who dont want to fall for you would directly deny you to be with or ask for a friendship. Basic difference in the two is they dont consider you up to it. You can stay a friend as you had been. But dont break relation just because you were not accepted as a lover. Friendship has its own meaning too. And when a girl says she just wants to be friend she likes you - but may mean that she needs time to love or trust you in general. It varies from situation to situation and person to person. Think yourself carefully ! Have the best !

They have the upper hand now that they knows how you feel towards them. Stay friends and do not bring up those feelings again, let them make the next move on if they want to modify the relationship and then you decide on if you want to or not.
