i had this account for years and now i cant access my account

Maybe they canceled the account for miss use of yahoo answers...I know they say they will if you violate the terms of use. Best wishes

1.)did you ever leave your yahoo account up and running on your computer? if you did, a friend could have easily asked yahoo to delete your account. (I know some used-to-be-friends would do this to me) of course yahoo would think it would be you asking for the termination.
2.) someone could have reported abuse just for fun (a very sick & twisted fun).
3.) or like someone said, you didn't follow the the terms of use.
4.) have you used it in the past month? some time the server will delete an account if it thinks it's not going to be used anymore.

Well this problem has been hapening way to often to me my solution
It isn't always your password that can be invalid it may be a speeling error in when you are typing in your username
also if you are on a free yahoo acount if your account is left or not being used for two long or not as much then your account could be closed down?

You may be using the wrong password. Try asking for the password security questions to reset the password and be sure that the CAPS lock is not turned on b/c Yahoo login is case sensitive...if this doesn't work then i guess you would have to go to Yahoo help....

don't waste your time emailing yahoo. they never answer.
you either didn't update your account or you did something that violated their terms of service.
once your account has been deactivated NOTHING not even money can get it back. just signup for a new account and this time update it atleast once a week and try to not break the rules

Yahoo is having problems with their growth. They are trying to keep up with Google. I am assuming of course, that you have not abused your rights since you have been a member for so long.

Maybe you spelled it incorrectly, try again then if it doesn't work, do another one.
