Franklin Delano Roosevelt massively increased the power of government far beyond what was allowed for in the constitution. His economic policies failed to bring America out of the Depression, contrary to what is generally believed. He dragged America into WWII, and some people argue that he knew in advance that Japan was going to attack Pearl Harbor, but wanted an excuse to enter the war. He founded a Social Security system that is exactly the same as a pyramid scheme, and that is now on the verge of bankruptcy.

GWB for too many reasons to list. For example: he took us into a war based on a lie about WMD. He raised the deficit to the highest levels in history. He is allowing industry to pollute the environment. He revealed the name of a CIA agent. He is allowing millions of illegal immigrants to come into the US. He approved of the outsourcing of jobs and he has lowered taxes for billionaires while the rest of us can barely get by. Got the picture?

I see people have only listed presidents who are still living. I am going to go out on a wide limb and say all of them have their strong points and their weak points. Modern to me would be the 20th century and onward.

George W Bush. Why is he? I think it's self-explanatory. An unnecessary war, Katrina, same sex marriage ban(which was defeated), his greed and arrogance, his inability to effectively communicate with his "people", so many reasons. Glad I'm not American because of him. He lies, but don't they all. I just loath him.
