I have found that if you put a light brown color on the base of your lids (such as bare minerals- bubbly, or mac pigments-melon) then you put a dark brown/copper color in your crease (mac pigment- blue brown, or bare minerals- sex kitten) it will make your eyes POP! I have light blue eyes as well and whenever I use these colors together my eyes go from dull to fabulous! I also put on multiple coats of a black mascara to make my eyes really blue. All of the eyeshadows that I mentioned are a loose powder, not a solid so they are easier to blend and make look more natural.
hope this helps!

I have lighter blue eyes myself, and for a long time I wanted to make them stand out, but I had no idea where to start. I've found that all shades of browns, especially reddish browns look FANSTASTIC. A few great products you should try are Almay intense i-color trio powder set. You can also buy the eyeliner and mascara to go with it. They will all be displayed together, so it's easy to find them. The other product I would reccomend is Rimmel's SpecialEyes powder duo called "A Type of Romance". It has a dark wine color and a light pink cream color, and they'll make your eyes POP! You can find both of these products in Wal Mart!

To make your eye color stand out, you should use the opposite color; for light blue try like a copper brown or play with other browns. Almay makes a shadow with three shades that best suit any eye color, it's really cool!

I would go with either opposites or colors that are off a bit. Like browns, tans, and especially copper. I would recommend In the Buff by Bare Minerals. Other colors to make you eyes pop are greens, pinks, and light iridescent colors. I would go to http://www.ivillage.com and then click on Beauty and style. Then on the side bar click on Makeovers. Then go to virtual makeover. You can put different colors on you eyes and everything to see what will work. Good Luckâ¥

Browns and golds! Almay makes special eye shadowns for different eye colors, to help them stand out. I have blue eyes, and my hair was a blondish color, and I recently dyed it back to my natural color- dark brown, and you would not even believe how much more my eyes stand out, people think I am wearing contacts. Try a dazzling green or a bronze color spend some time at a make-up store and have fun try on eyeshadow. (use your hand and arm, take a Q-tip swipe a color and rub it on your skin, then hold it up to your face to see the contrast and see what looks good, it comes off easy)

Stay away from blue eyeshadow. But it really depends on your skin tone and your hair color. I have blue eyes, bronze skin and blonde hair and pinks look brilliant on my eyeballs.
