Think about it: They live in the same house, breathe the same air, use the same toilet/shower/bath, wash clothes together, eat the same foods, watch same shows, ride in the same cars, sleep in the same bed, talk on same phone, hear the same voice of their partner over and over everyday, and of course produced the same prodigy.
Eventually The Theory of Evolution is gonna catch them of guard and slap them in the face with similaritys.
So I say if you dont want this to happen to you then do as my grandparents did and make sure you each have several homes of your own to get away from one another regularly, then you have the ONE shared home for you both to meet at and enjoy each other more because your not being smothered in the marriage, oh how I wish....ahaha, joking!

intersting question... My husband And I do look similar, but not the same. His sister looks more like him, and their father they both look like. People has confused us as brother and sister before, while dating. This question is kind of boggus though, because there are lots of married couples who #1 may be the same sex. #2 Could be actually related. #3 married a different race. What is your question now?

I have noticed that too, although NOT all couples start to look the same, a-lot of couples could be distant cousins. More-so, they are after someone more like themselves then a personal individual.

I don't know why this happens but it definitely does in some instances.
I have lived with my partner for just over 5 years and we are mistaken for each other when driving the car.
We both wear glasses and have similar coloured hair only he is going bald and I am starting to grey.

That's so funny, but you're right, it happens alot. I think it's because of two things. I think in some strange way we react to someone else if there's something a little familiar in their face. And secondly, if you're around someone alot, you start to pick up each other's mannerisms and facial expressions - much like if you're around someone with an accent. Good observation!
