Has it made new friends? Lifelong or just casual friends?
Has it created the deepest despairs for you?
Has it become your worst nightmare?
Has it brought out a side to you that is usually kept well hidden?
Or has it just given you hours of fun and enjoyment?

Well hmmm. I never really got into chatting so this has become an outlet. I also enjoy playing games like wordracer but I haven't been doing that as much lately. I love being able to look things up at the drop of a hat. I have seen more of the world than I ever had thought possible.
It's given my husband has a new disrespect for machinery. I feel compelled to peruse this site the second I walk in the door. We were out last night having a great time and the second we walked through the door I rushed to the special room and look at my questions and answers. He just looked at me with dismay and shook his head. I have "met" some people that I would say are very funny and put me to shame in the smarts department
On the bright side my typing skills have improved.

The internet first and foremost is assisting me with being able to finish my degree on line through a local university and keeps me in contact with my soldier while he is overseas.

I have made several friends thru various sites, most are casual.

Deepest despairs?

It has yet to be my worst nightmare but I can say there are some days where I should probably be doing other things.

I am me, internet or otherwise.

It has become a key to boredom especially when my husband is deployed. Mostly games, photo software programs and school.

I have made close, lifelong friends. I have made many casual friends. It was a source of problems in my marriage for a time. (To much time given to internet poker, lol) It is not my worst nightmare. No, it has not brought out any "hidden" sides of me. It has brought me lots of hours of entertainment and learning. It has made me bolder in doing things as I have more information available.

Absolutely love the net for shopping, especially eBay. Banking is now a breeze, research at my fingertips, music on call, all the latest news when I want, software downloads and upgrades, the list goes on... the only thing is too many late nights.

On friends-I have made casual friends on the internet, but several deep friendships which will probably be life long.
It is entertaining, enlightening, fun, and a useful tool for my college courses.

I met my darling husband of 3 years through the Internet. I`ve never been so happy. Not through a dating site - just in a Chat Room.

I have fun wasting time that is now freed up! But the lust and the stress levels are at a all time high! So I guess the main thing it has done for is make me more confused!
