Naani M, quit this!
You are 5ft tall, and that's it. That's how you were designed to be so that you can be the person that you are.
OK -- if you really want to be a BIT taller, you can get a thing called an instep which goes into your shoe that raises you about 2-3 cm. Combined with that, you can have thick soles, with a thick heel hammered onto the bottom of your shoe. That will increase your height by another 3-4 cms. Just make sure that the instep and the thick sole are done for you after consultation with a podiatrist or an orthopedic surgeon because you can really hurt your muscles and jolt the bones in your feet if you get some cobbler-on-the-corner to make these for you.
Also, you can investigate getting a hairstyle that raises your coiffure: simply "teasing" the hair with a comb to puff up the hair helps. But then, I guess you are a south-east Asian, and it's very difficult to "fluff up" that beautiful, straight black hair your people have.
Next -- be very careful of your diet. Always keep thin. There is NOTHING as short as a FAT guy. Keep ultra thin, and wear clothes (especially formal shirts with collars) that have stripes that go up and down. DON'T wear stripes or patterns that go from side to side! That makes you look shorter.
But what is this all going to do? It's going to make you LOOK taller, but that's not the point. You ARE short! So what the hell? Julius Caesar was short. Napoleon Buonaparte was short. But they ruled the world, man!
So can you!
Get real, Naani. Stop this obsession with being tall! It's not worth it. For every person out there who calls you "Shorty" (or whatever they call short guys in your country) there are 10 who notice, but don't care. And another 10 don't even notice.
So ignore the ONE rude guy in your life, and rejoice with the other 20 that think you're great!
People will love you, NOT because of how tall or how short you are, but because of WHO you are. Are you an honest person? Are you sincere? Can we trust you? Do you care about us? Are you a good lecturer? Do you treat your students with sincerity? Do you find something in EACH of them that makes you love them for who they are? Are you looking after their interests? Are you looking after your career? Are you trying to be the best qualified person in your field?
Stop bellyaching about how high your is *** is off the ground! Worry about how high you stand in the opinion of others! THAT'S what counts in life, babe.

Lately, all i have seen is the new shoe, with about a 2" heel on them, flip flops and sandals alike!
Standing tall helps, too. Meaning you s-t-r-e-t-c-h from your middle and lower tummy and back area. Like you have a string pulling you toward the ceiling through your head.
Hold your back straight-good posture,..OK?
