Nope. Sanitation didn't exist, life was hardscrabble for most of the population, the romantic image of King Arthur's court was fiction. Life in the Middle Ages was short and brutal. If you didn't die in your first two years of life, you family may actually give you name. If you made it to your early teens you had been working from dawn to dusk for several years. If you were female, you probably didn't survive childbirth. As a woman, I would have had to hurt those men who thought I was chattel, and that the rule of thumb meant you couldn't beat me with a stick wider than your thumb.
Add in bubonic plague, wars ravaging the countryside and really bad music and you have a recipe for disaster.

We had this week called Chivalry week in high school. I moved up the ranks from lady in waiting to Queen. I would have been empress but my "King" had an interview at Harvard. So I decided to become a nun for effect. Anyway the whole courtly love was fun--fainting into unsuspecting suitors arms, being serenaded. Very cool---but---
I was reading this book called Montaillou about daily life in the French countryside at such a time. Your greatest relationship was not with the person you slept with but the person de-loused you. That being said--ewww. I don't think I would want to hack it. Chamber pots in a nice house--I am pretty sure I wouldn't be in one of those so not a life I'd want to live.
I do not want to be a "Connecticut Yankee" in Arthur's court.
