I picture the nice neighborhood I live in. With that also the neighbors and most of all my family living within a few blocks. I know some people think of Cape Town and only think of the most beautiful place on earth, but for me Cape Town is about family and neighbors and being able to be free. Not that I'm a prisoner in Korea, but because there I can visit anybody without them thinking I'm a bother.

I am from the Philippines. I believe The Republic of South Africa is industrialized. But all the news I get from South Africa(the continent) is Wars, Hunger, Poverty and Tribal Warlords abound. Most people here cannot distinguish between the Industrialized Africa and the impoverished ones. I would have the false sterotype that, Even considering the state we are in, I believe that in cetain areas, we are better off.

I been to Capetown four times and its my favorite city in the world. It is so beautiful and there are so many things to do in and around the city.
I also love Krugar, other parks in the East and the Drakenburgs.
But what do I think of RSA, I think Embeki is very dangerous and his lack of pro activity has lead to a downward slide with no end in site. He's not as bad as Mad Bob in Zim, but has done Little if anything to improve the country and rid it of tribalism.
I was shocked on my first visit to RSA at the amount of prejudice of one black tribe against the others. I am 51 and live in the USA and never saw anything approaching what you have there here.
The fact that a developing nation has 11 "official" languages; English, Africans which none else in the world speaks and 9 other native languages is absurd, not only in cost to your nation but we are living in the Internet age now and there are very few website in Zulu or Bantu or whatever.
You are suffering from a lack of leadership that will be the downfall of your beautiful country.
Anyone interest in visiting RSA I would highly make it a priority and do it soon while its still worthwhile and safe to go.

You be very surprised what people think of South Africa. They think we have wild animals running around in our back yards and that we don't have things like technology. Stupid people.
